The gap today
You solved global employment. Don't send customers somewhere else for the laptop.
Every hire your platform creates in a new market produces a physical requirement your product currently hands back to the customer: find a supplier who sells that configuration locally, get it configured, get it delivered, and get it back at the end.
Employment is global. Hardware is local.
Suppliers, warranties, plugs, keyboards, and import rules change with every country you support.
Cross-border shipping is the wrong default.
Duties, delays, and customs holds turn a two-day delivery into a three-week onboarding problem.
Recovery rarely happens.
When an assignment ends abroad, the device usually stays where it is.
Your coverage promise gets tested.
Customers judge global capability by the market where it failed, not the twenty where it worked.
The opportunity
Extend the promise you already make.
EOR platforms win on coverage and on removing operational work. Device infrastructure is the same argument applied to the physical side of employment.
Coverage parity
Equip employees in the same markets where you can employ them.
Higher workflow ownership
Hardware becomes a step in your hiring flow instead of a customer's separate project.
Stronger enterprise deals
Multi-country programs are decided on operational completeness, not payroll alone.
Fewer local vendors
One integration instead of a supplier relationship per market.
Recoverable value
Devices you deploy can be recovered and redeployed rather than written off.
New revenue line
Equipment services can be packaged alongside employment fees.
Global lifecycle
Employ. Equip. Manage. Recover. Redeploy.
The same integration covers every stage, and the asset does not disappear when the assignment ends.

Software in. Hardware out.
Software is only half the infrastructure.
An endpoint takes a sprint. A supplier, warehouse, courier, customs, inspection, and disposition chain in every market you promise takes years.

Why it matters
Why this belongs in an EOR product.
Extend the global employment experience.
The customer's mental model is already "we hire here through this platform." Equipment is the missing half of that sentence.
- Equip in the markets you support
- No second vendor per country
- Consistent experience across markets
Increase product depth and share of workflow.
Owning the physical step moves your platform from record-keeping into operations, which is much harder to displace.
- Asset history lives in your product
- More of the customer's process runs through you
- Stronger position in enterprise evaluations
Operate globally without assembling a hardware network.
Building this internally means recruiting suppliers, warehouses, couriers, and disposition partners market by market — then keeping them accountable.
- One integration, many markets
- Coverage grows without your headcount
- Operational risk carried by GroWrk

FAQ
EOR & Global Employment questions.
How does hardware provisioning connect to an EOR hire?
Your hiring flow adds an equipment step. When the customer confirms a configuration, your backend calls GroWrk with the country, policy, and delivery target. The resulting deployment object and its webhooks keep the employment record current without any customer action outside your product.
Can devices be sourced locally in each country?
Local sourcing is the default wherever it is available, because it avoids import duties, customs delays, warranty gaps, and wrong keyboard or power configurations. Cross-border shipping is used only when a market cannot supply the required configuration.
How are device standards managed across many countries?
Customers define policies that GroWrk resolves per market — for example an engineering standard that maps to the closest available configuration and correct regional keyboard in each country. Your product decides how much of that is visible to the customer.
How are terminations and retrievals handled?
An end-of-employment event in your platform can create a retrieval. GroWrk coordinates pickup with the employee in-country, tracks transit, receives and inspects the device, and reports condition back through webhooks.
What happens to recovered equipment?
It is wiped with certified evidence and then stored, redeployed to the customer's next hire in that market, resold, donated, or recycled — according to the customer's policy and what your product exposes.
How does GroWrk handle countries with different operating requirements?
Available services, lead times, and import handling vary by market. GroWrk operates the local relationships and surfaces the practical result — availability, lead time, and cost — through the same API, so your product does not need country-specific logistics logic.
Does the EOR need to build logistics operations?
No. Your engineering team integrates software primitives. Suppliers, warehouses, couriers, inspection, and disposition partners are GroWrk's responsibility to operate and hold accountable.
Can this be white-labelled?
Partner implementations are designed to keep the customer inside your product. The scope of branded employee-facing communications is agreed during partnership scoping.
How does implementation work?
Scope the countries and lifecycle services, design the flow against the API in a sandbox, validate permissions and lifecycle scenarios, then launch with a defined operating model and expand coverage over time.
