The gap today
The assignment starts on Monday. The equipment is nobody's job.
Staffing, contractor, and talent platforms activate distributed workers for client engagements. The laptop, monitor, and headset those workers need are usually arranged by whoever notices first — the client, the account manager, or the worker themselves.
Activation is delayed.
A worker who is contracted, cleared, and scheduled still cannot start without hardware.
Standards vary by client.
Each end client has its own equipment expectations, and none of them live in your platform.
Assets go missing between assignments.
Equipment issued for a six-month engagement rarely comes back cleanly.
Support falls between parties.
When a device fails mid-assignment, nobody owns the replacement path.
The opportunity
Equipment is the last unowned step in workforce activation.
Your platform already coordinates the worker, the client, the location, and the dates. Adding equipment closes the gap between assignment created and worker productive.
Faster activation
Equipment lead time planned from the assignment date rather than discovered late.
Client-grade consistency
Standardized equipment across every worker on an engagement.
Deeper client relationships
Enterprise clients value operational completeness over sourcing speed alone.
Asset recovery
Equipment returns to stock when assignments end.
Reuse across workers
One device can serve several assignments over its life.
New service line
Equipment services packaged alongside placement and management fees.
Assignment lifecycle
From assignment created to asset recovered.
The equipment lifecycle mirrors the assignment lifecycle, including what happens between workers.
- 01
Assignment created
A worker is matched to a client engagement with a location and dates. Everything the equipment workflow needs already exists.

Software in. Hardware out.
Software is only half the infrastructure.
Recording that a worker needs a laptop, a monitor, and a headset is trivial. Getting all three to an address before Monday, supporting them for six months, and getting them back is not.

You place the worker. We equip and recover.
The client and worker experience stays inside your platform; the physical operation is ours.
Your product owns
The experience
- Assignments and scheduling
- Client and worker relationships
- Equipment policy per client
- Billing and margin
- Support intake in your UI
- Reporting per engagement
GroWrk operates
The infrastructure
- Sourcing kits, not just laptops
- Configuration and enrollment readiness
- Delivery to worker addresses
- Replacement and maintenance
- End-of-assignment retrieval
- Inspection, storage, reissue
Why it matters
Three outcomes for workforce platforms.
Make enterprise workforce activation easier.
Large clients judge staffing partners on how quickly a placed worker becomes productive, not on how fast the contract was signed.
- Equipment planned from the start date
- Fewer delayed activations
- One accountable party for the kit
Standardize equipment across distributed assignments.
Client-specific standards are enforced automatically instead of negotiated per worker.
- Policy per client and role
- Consistent kits across locations
- Configuration handled before shipping
Recover and reuse assets when assignments end.
Recovery is scheduled by the end date, and inspected units re-enter stock for the next worker.
- Automatic retrieval trigger
- Condition grading on receipt
- Reissue instead of rebuy

Commercial models
How workforce platforms package it.
Equipment is usually sold to the end client as part of workforce activation.

Equipment included in the fee to activate a placed worker.
Per-assignment service
Charged per assignment equipped and recovered.
Client program
A standing equipment program for a large enterprise client.
Managed kit service
Ongoing fee covering support, recovery, storage, and reissue.
GroWrk does not set end-customer pricing. Commercial terms are agreed during partnership design.

FAQ
Workforce, Staffing & Talent questions.
Can equipment requirements be tied to an assignment?
Yes. Deployments can reference your assignment identifier, so the kit, the delivery target, and the recovery date all derive from the assignment record in your platform.
Can different clients have different device policies?
Yes. Equipment policies are defined per end client and can vary by role or location. Your platform chooses which policy applies; GroWrk enforces it when sourcing and configuring.
How are devices tracked between workers?
Each unit keeps one lifecycle record across every assignment it serves, including assignment history, condition grades at each recovery, maintenance events, and location.
What happens when an assignment ends?
The end date can trigger a retrieval automatically. GroWrk coordinates pickup with the worker, tracks transit, receives and inspects the equipment, performs certified wiping, and reports the outcome back.
Can recovered devices be redeployed to another worker?
Yes. Inspected and wiped units return to the customer's stock and can be allocated to the next assignment before any new purchase is quoted.
Can support or replacement requests be triggered inside our product?
Yes. Maintenance and replacement requests are API operations, so you can expose them in your own support flow and track resolution through webhooks.
Can workers receive equipment globally?
GroWrk supports device operations across more than 150 countries, delivering to individual worker addresses rather than only to corporate sites. Lead times and available services vary by market.
